I finished Twilight last night and I stopped at Target on my way home to get New Moon. I started reading after dinner and if you are planning on reading these and haven't yet... STOP READING.. lol not much of a spolier but don't say i didn't warn you!!

for those of you who have read it, did you start sobbing when Edward told Bella he was leaving? I was bawling. Jebus.. it brought up memories/feelings of being broken hearted like that. Feeling so helpless... I had to stop reading and I tuned into Project Runway, and half hour later, I'm still feeling very upset.  Hopefully it will get better for me :)

and got "Twilight." I started reading it at 7pm, telling myself that at 7:30, I was going to stop and go to the gym. That didn't happen.

At 9pm, I told myself I would spend some time doing wii fit since I didn't go to the gym. That didn't happen.

At 10pm, I stopped for The Hills. Started reading at 10:45 again... forced myself to go to sleep at 12:23. Jebus. I could've read the book all night.

Today, Alex, her friend from FL, and I went hiking. I really enjoyed it (except for the mosquitoes) and I wondered why I hadn't been hiking as much before. Sure we had gone hiking in Monterrey, Mex. but it never occurred to me to go somewhere here or in Canada. I've been hiking twice since Banff, and we're going again in a couple of week and this time, we're going to try the Skyline trail which is the much longer/harder trail. We're not going to tackle it all since it's 9 miles long and hard!! We did a tiny bit a part of it.
I've never been much of a nature person until this year... I really wanted to "Discover Ontario" but since I'm stuck here, I might as well enjoy what this area has to offer.

Next summer,  Ontario & I have a date ;)

I'm sooo stoked for next weekend!! Not only am I going to NYC and taking a "day" trip to Atlantic City to check out hotels, on Sunday, we're going to Allentown PA to go see Simple Plan and Metro Station!! SOOO STOKED!!! I was so sad that I couldn't go to London, ON to go see them with Metro Station on the 30th, and this makes up for it. :D :D :D

So my 30th birthday is just under 5 weeks away. I have to plan my birthday and I absolutely haaaate planning for my birthday.
I was thinking Mohegan Sun but with an unofficial discount, it would be $400 a night. I didn't think it was grand enough for a 30th bday... I wanted to do Vegas but I went in June, so that's out. Atlantic City it is... Now the problem is..which hotel?
Any suggestions fellow voxers?
Next weekend my friend and I are going to drive down and check out the final hotels :)

I went to 2 gym classes today and by the time 9 rolled around, I was exhausted. I went to bed at 10, and woke up at 3 for a bio break. I couldn't fall back asleep because my back is really itchy due to my sunburn.

So I'm tossing and turning and I remember that my ipod nano is not working well so naturally, I wake up my macbook, and look for an answer. I'm restoring the ipod software on it right now. Hopefully that will fix it since I don't feel like spending money on another ipod at the moment (I don't think i got the extended warranty on it). Besides, I don't know what colour I'd want. I don't like the silver one so I'd buy the 8GB one even tho I don't need that much capacity since I only use it for running and meditating but I'd want my choice of colour and I'm sure that's what the marketing people thought of when they decided on the colours. I think I'd want blue or black. I have a pink one now but I think it's time for a change even tho it does go with most of my gym clothes :).

Oh and since my PC has all my music (I have yet to transfer personal files from my work laptop), I booted it up, and I had problems with the D drive where all the data is stored. What a dragggg. I'm going to back that up now (or leave it backing up while I go back to sleep.

Ah dammit.. I forgot the AC adapter for the PC at work. UGH. Scrap the data transfer until I get into the office since I need my ipod to finish restoring :(

I was watching Flashpoint after CSI. I saw a store that looked like one at a mall in downtown Toronto. I thought it was just me, but later on in the episode, they mentioned Yonge street and I could recognize some of it from when I was last w/superman. I miss home. I really miss it. I miss it so much it makes my heart ache. 37 days down, 53-83 days to go :(

So on Thursday, I had to videotape the VP to send to India. As I mentioned earlier, I was a bit nervous, but it went well. That evening, I went to a fundraiser event at the Liberty Hotel, and the VP was there. We were talking about the recording session, and he admitted that he was nervous to be recording without my boss being present because he's the one that coaches him! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was nervous :) I edited the video and they liked it so yay :D
